What types of issues are suitable for e-therapy?

Any emotional issue, life dilemma, relationship problem or big questions that you have about your goals in life.

That can include emotional overwhelm including anxiety, depression, anger issues, hurt and heartbreak, stress or needing general clarity on what you’re feeling and how to move past pain or crisis.

Intimate relationships – I help individuals (rather than couples), to find, improve, save or leave a relationship, in a way that helps them move forward with clarity and strength. This can include helping with betrayal, loss and separation.  It can also include saving your relationship through changing how you approach your partner, getting assertive and improving your communication for success.   

Other relationships (work, colleagues, leadership, children, family, others) -We will focus on how you can best manage the behaviour of others, process your feelings and thoughts and learn new skills to build boundaries, bonds and bridges with those who matter.

Big Questions –  Sometimes you just have a big question or dilemma that you need to work though and arrive at clarity and a solution.  Therapy and coaching will give you a strong sense of support and guidance to ensure you make your best decisions.

Goals – You can work through any goal you have in life, relating to your own health or success needs.  That includes business related issues, health and wellness, building a success mindset and removing blocks and limitations to achieving your dreams.  

So much can be achieved with E-Therapy and Coaching so it’s best to book a consultation and find out if it’s a good option for you.  There’s no pressue to sign up, we’ll only proceed if we both think it’s in your best interest.

Issues NOT suitable include self-harm of any kind (including suicidal ideas), phobias, addictions, severe psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia etc.  

For obvious reasons, Virtual Reality Therapy and Hypnotherapy can only be used at in- person sessions, although hypnotherapy recordings can be made to support progress with E-Therapy.

 

How do we work together?

First of all we’ll agree how many sessions you need.  Then we’ll kick off with a deep dive into your particular issue.  From there, each session is built around your current concerns, amount of progress and areas your stuck.  We’ll arrange a video or telephone call time and I’ll contact you at the arranged time.  As long as you have a phone or internet connection and a quiet enough space for us to work together, it’s all easy and straightforward.  

How long is a session?

30 or 60 minutes depending on your package choice. 

How do the payments work?

Payments are taken in advance for single and package sessions.  You can pay via credit/debit card or PayPal.  I will send you the relevant links once you’ve decided the path you want to take.

How do I know this is for me?

It’s for you if you’re ready to change a current situation, get answers to your big questions, overcome your current pain or dilemma or move forward with your dreams and goals.  

You’ll also have to be comfortable with using the telephone and/or digital devices (computer, tablet, phone), although I’ll guide you through the whole process, so don’t worry too much.

You want a more convenient, less costly solution to getting help from someone trained to support you and help you make the transformations you desire. 

It’s also suitable for those who are reluctant to spend time travelling to see a therapist, or are more comfortable using phone/messenger/email etc, rather than working face to face.

 

Does it work as well as face to face therapy?

The research shows that it’s at least as effective as face to face therapy for the issues I personally deal with on-line.  I’ve chosen problems that I know deliver RESULTS for clients in the same powerful way that face to face therapy provides. I’ve deliberately avoided specific psychological issues, where I don’t believe on-line therapy is as powerful as working in person (e.g. phobias, addictions, self-harming).

Can I just book one session?

Yes, you can, although if you know you’ll need more than one session, then it’s much more cost-effective to take advantage of the package prices.

Is it safe and confidential?

Your information is never shared with anyone, other than myself.  The only time your information would be shared is if you are at risk of harming yourself or someone else. Under a duty of care, I am expected to notify emergency support services to keep you safe.  Apart from that, all data is stored safely.

Am I locked into any contract?

Only the package that you pay for, which is 5 sessions at a time.  Once those sessions are used up, you can either choose to leave or book for further sessions.  There is currently no membership or other fees to pay.

What happens if I have to cancel and session

24 hours notice is required to cancel the session and the session fee is deducted for a ‘no show’.  If it’s an emergency and can’t be avoided, contact me and let me know and we’ll work something out.

The sessions prices are listed above.  It’s heavily discounted compared to face to face therapy. Also, there are 30 minute options available for flexibiity in time and affordability.
